فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق ملاقات میں پاکستان کے مختلف امور پر سیر حاصل بات چیت ہوئی جبکہ علاقائی امن و استحکام، انسداد دہشتگردی اور جمہوری اقدار کی کوششوں پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
آرمی چیف نے تعلیم، مثبت سوچ کی اہمیت اور سکیورٹی چیلنجز پر روشنی ڈالی جبکہ پاکستان کے وسیع پوٹینشل پر بھی اظہار خیال کیا۔ اس موقع پر سپہ سالار جنرل عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ وفد کے شرکا اپنے ذاتی تجربات کی روشنی میں اپنی رائے قائم کریں۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق آرمی چیف نے مس انفارمیشن اور فیک نیوز کے اثرات پر بھی گفتگو کی، ہارورڈ بزنس اسکول کے طلبہ نے تعمیری بات چیت پر آرمی چیف کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
گزشتہ روز نوجوانان پاکستان کی تقریب سے خطاب میں آرمی چیف عاصم منیر نے کہا تھا کہ جو پاکستان کے ڈیفالٹ کا بیانیہ بنا رہے تھے وہ آج کہاں ہیں؟ بحیثیت مسلمان ہمیں ناامیدی سے منع کیا گیا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ عوام کو سوشل میڈیا سے پیدا ہیجان، فتنے سے دور رکھنا ریاست کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ عوام، حکومت اور فوج میں مضبوط رشتہ ہی پاکستان کے تحفظ اور ترقی کا ضامن ہے۔
آرمی چیف نے کہا کہ آپ کی آنکھوں کی چمک دیکھ کریقین ہوجاتا ہے پاکستان کا مستقبل محفوظ ہاتھوں میں ہے۔ آزادریاست کی اہمیت جاننی ہے تو لیبیا، شام، کشمیر اور غزہ کےعوام سے پوچھو۔
نوجوانوں سے خطاب میں جنرل عاصم منیر کا کہنا تھا کہ زندگی امتحان کا نام ہے۔علم انسان کو دوسروں سے ممتاز کرتا ہے۔ آرمی چیف جنرل عاصم منیر نے قرآن کی آیت پڑھ کر سنائی، ’کیا لوگ یہ سمجھے بیٹھے ہیں کہ صرف یہ کہنے پرچھوڑ دیے جائیں گے کہ ہم ایمان لائے اور آزمائش نہ ہو گی۔‘
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کا سب سے بڑا اور قیمتی سرمایہ ہمارے نوجوان ہیں۔ ہم کسی صورت قیمتی سرمایہ نوجوانوں کو ضائع نہیں ہونے دیں گے۔آرمی چیف نے خطاب کے اختتام پر نوجوانوں کو علامہ اقبال کا شعر ’افراد کے ہاتھوں میں ہے اقوام کی تقدیر، ہر فرد ہے ملت کے مقدر کا ستارہ‘ بھی پڑھ کر سنایا۔
عاصم منیر نے نوجوانوں کے سوالات کے جواب میں پاک فوج کا مؤقف بھی بیان کیا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ پارا چنار فسادات پر قبائل مل کر زمینی، فروعی تنازعات ختم کرنے میں مدد دیں۔ آرمی چیف کا کہنا تھا کہ کے پی کی عوام 22 سال سے پاک فوج کیساتھ دہشتگردی کیخلاف سیسہ پلائی دیوار بنی رہی، میرا یہ ایمان ہے اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں دہشتگردی کے خلاف فتح مبین عطا کرے گا۔
Army Chief Meets 44-Member Delegation of Harvard Business School Students
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a delegation of 44 students from Harvard Business School met with the Army Chief. During the meeting, there was a comprehensive discussion on various matters related to Pakistan, including regional peace and stability, counter-terrorism efforts, and the promotion of democratic values.
The Army Chief emphasized the importance of education, positive thinking, and the security challenges facing the country. He also spoke about Pakistan’s vast potential. General Asim Munir encouraged the delegation to form their opinions based on their personal experiences.
The ISPR further reported that the Army Chief discussed the impact of misinformation and fake news. The students from Harvard Business School expressed their gratitude to the Army Chief for the constructive dialogue.
In a separate event addressing the youth of Pakistan General Asim Munir remarked on those who were promoting a narrative of Pakistan’s default questioning where they are now. He stated that as Muslims we are forbidden from losing hope. He also emphasized that it is the state’s responsibility to protect the public from the chaos and unrest caused by social media. The strong bond between the public, government, and the military is crucial for Pakistan’s security and development.
The Army Chief expressed his confidence in the future of Pakistan saying that the bright eyes of the youth assured him that the country’s future is in safe hands. He highlighted the importance of independence by urging people to ask the citizens of Libya, Syria, Kashmir, and Gaza.
Addressing the youth General Asim Munir stated that life is a test and that knowledge distinguishes one from others. He recited a verse from the Quran: “Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We believe,’ and will not be tested?” He emphasized that the greatest and most valuable asset of Pakistan is its youth, and they will not be allowed to waste this precious resource.
The Army Chief concluded in his speech Allama Iqbal: “The destiny of nations is in the hands of individuals; each individual is a star in the nation’s destiny.” He also addressed the youth’s questions, sharing the perspective of the Pakistan Army. He called on the tribes to help resolve the sectarian conflicts in Parachinar and emphasized that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have stood as a united front with the Pakistan Army against terrorism for 22 years. He expressed his belief that Allah will grant them a decisive victory against terrorism.
