IG Punjab Video Message On Bahawalnagar Incident

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has rejected the impact on Punjab Police’s morale following the incident in Bahawalnagar. Saying that certain elements on social media are trying to create friction between institutions by exploiting the incident orchestrated by anti state elements. Dr. Usman Anwar, IG Punjab in an important video message regarding the Bahawalnagar incident. He said that the morale of Punjab Police is what enables them to combat terrorists, thieves, and dacoits. He mentioned that efforts were made on social media to create friction between institutions in light of the Bahawalnagar incident.

Although both institutions took immediate action together and the RPO Bahawalpur and local army command visited the area. IG Punjab said that anti state elements are trying to create friction between institutions by exploiting incidents attempting to ensure that we don’t fall behind hostile enemies willingly. He stated that videos of some past incidents were presented differently to spread despair among Punjab Police’s youth. He mentioned that the incident occurred due to not following the SOPs of the Special Investigation Police Stations. Both institutions immediately visited the area together held meetings and resolved the matter amicably. Pakistan Zindabad Long Live Pakistan Army and Punjab Police slogans were raised.

IG Punjab stated that a Joint Investigation Committee has been formed according to the statement issued by the ISPR. And legal requirements will be fulfilled during the inquiry. He said that the Punjab government has formed an inquiry committee to identify individuals involved in the incident and determine responsibilities. The inquiry committee includes armed forces Punjab Police and civil administration officials. IG Punjab said that attempts were made to break the familial bond between Punjab Police’s leadership and force.

Dr. Usman Anwar said that the struggle against dacoits, thieves, criminals, and anti social elements will continue with the same fervor. The police and all security agencies will remain steadfast in their mission to eliminate terrorists and troublemakers to secure Pakistan. He stressed that it is imperative for the forces not to pay attention to social media trolling or unnecessary criticism and not to fall prey to misleading propaganda. The police leadership and force have buried the hatchet of enemy strongholds in every operation in Mianwali, Kacheh, DG Khan, and Jaranwala.

He mentioned that the welfare of the force 23,000 promotions, modern training, provision of housing, legal aid, and department’s solidarity with its officers on every occasion, are paramount. Serving and protecting the country and nation is the primary duty of the police force. And it is imperative for the force to fulfill it with full dedication.

Previously in a statement issued by the ISPR’s Public Relations Branch of the Pakistan Army. It was stated that a joint inquiry involving police and security officials will be conducted to identify and prosecute those involved in the incident and any legal violations.

 انسپکٹر جنرل (آئی جی) پنجاب ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے بہاولنگر تھانے میں پیش آنے والے واقعے کے بعد پنجاب پولیس کا مورال پست ہونے کا تاثر مسترد کرتےہوئے کہا ہے کہ سوشل میڈیا پر ملک دشمن کالعدم تنظیم واقعے کو بنیاد بنا کر عوام میں اداروں کے درمیان ٹکراؤ کا تاثر دینے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے۔

آئی جی پنجاب ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے بہاولنگر واقعے کے حوالے سے اہم ویڈیو پیغام میں کہا کہ پنجاب پولیس کا مورال وہ بنیاد ہے جس سے ہم دہشت گردوں، چوروں، ڈاکوؤں سے لڑتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ بہاولنگر کے واقعے کے حوالے سے سوشل میڈیا پر اداروں میں ٹکراؤ کا تاثر دینے کی کوشش کی گئی حالانکہ دونوں اداروں نے مشترکہ طور پر اس کا فوری ایکشن لیا اور آر پی او بہاولپور اور آرمی کی مقامی کمانڈ نے علاقے کا دورہ کیا۔

آئی جی پنجاب نے کہا کہ ملک دشمن کالعدم تنظیم واقعے کو بنیاد بنا کر عوام میں اداروں کے درمیان ٹکراؤ کا تاثر پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے، کالعدم تنظیم یہ تاثر پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے کہ اب ہم خدانخواستہ دشمن کے پیچھے نہیں جائیں گے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پنجاب پولیس کے جوانوں میں مایوسی پھیلانے کے لیے بعض پرانے واقعات کی ویڈیوز بھی سیاق و سباق سے ہٹ کر پیش کی گئیں۔

اپنے بیان میں انہوں نے کہا کہ اسپیشل انیشئیٹو پولیس اسٹیشنز کے ایس او پیز کو فالو نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے یہ واقعہ پیش آیا۔ دونوں اداروں نے مل کر فوری علاقے کا دورہ کیا، اجلاس منعقد کیے اور معاملے کو خوش اسلوبی سے حل کیا گیا۔ پاکستان زندہ باد، پاک فوج اور پنجاب پولیس زندہ باد کے نعرے لگائے گئے۔

آئی جی پنجاب نے کہا کہ آئی ایس پی آر کی طرف سے جاری بیان کے مطابق معاملے کی جوائنٹ انوسٹی گیشن انکوائری قائم کر دی گئی ہے۔ انکوائری کے دوران قانونی تقاضوں کو پورا کیا جائے گا۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ حکومت پنجاب نے بھی واقعے میں ملوث افراد کے ذاتی عمل کی نشان دہی اور ذمہ داران کے تعین کے لیے انکوائری کمیٹی قائم کر دی ہے۔ حکومت کی قائم کردہ انکوائری کمیٹی میں مسلح افواج، پنجاب پولیس اور سول حکام شامل ہیں۔

آئی جی پنجاب نے کہا کہ پنجاب پولیس کی لیڈرشپ اور فورس کے درمیان فیملی جیسے رشتے کو توڑنے کی ناکام کوشش کی گئی۔

ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے کہا کہ پنجاب پولیس کی ڈاکوؤں، چوروں، بدمعاشوں اور سماج دشمن عناصر کے ساتھ جنگ اسی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ جاری رہے گی۔ پولیس اور تمام سیکیورٹی ادارے مل کر دہشت گردوں اور شرپسندوں کو نیست و نابود کرکے پاکستان کو محفوظ بنانے کے مشن پر گامزن رہیں گے۔

آئی جی نے کہا کہ فورس پر لازم ہے کہ سوشل میڈیا ٹرولنگ یا غیر ضروری تنقید پر کان نہ دھرے اور گمراہ کن پروپیگنڈے کا شکار نہ ہو۔ پولیس قیادت اور فورس نے مل کر میانوالی، کچہ آپریشن، ڈی جی خان اور جڑانوالہ ہر جگہ وطن دشمنوں کے عزائم کو خاک میں ملایا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ فورس کی ویلفیئر، 23 ہزار پروموشنز، جدید ٹریننگ، گھروں کی فراہمی، لیگل ایڈ سمیت ہر موقعے پر محکمہ اپنے اہلکاروں کے ساتھ کھڑا ہے اور کھڑا رہے گا۔ ملک و قوم کی خدمت اور حفاظت پولیس فورس کا نصب العین ہے۔ جسے بھرپور لگن کے ساتھ سر انجام دینا فورس پر لازم ہے۔

قبل ازیں پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا تھا کہ واقعے کی شفاف انکوائری اور قانونی خلاف ورزی کے مرتکب ہونے والوں کی نشان دہی کے لیے پولیس اور سیکیورٹی اہلکاروں پر مشتمل مشترکہ انکوائری کی جائے گی۔
