آئی ایم ایف کو بجلی اور گیس کے نرخوں میں بروقت اضافے کی یقین دہانی

حکومت نے بین الاقوامی مالیاتی فنڈ (آئی ایم ایف) کو بجلی اور گیس کے نرخوں میں بروقت اضافے کی یقین دہانی کرادی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق آئی ایم ایف کی جانب سے جون میں گیس پھر مہنگی کرنے کے مطالبے کے پیش نظر گیس سیکٹر کے گردشی قرض کی روک تھام کیلئے صارفین سے مکمل کاسٹ ریکوری کا پلان بھی تیار کرلیا۔

دستاویز کے مطابق آئی ایم ایف نے جون 2024ء سے گیس کی  قیمتوں میں ششماہی بنیاد پر پھر اضافے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ حکومت نے گردشی قرضے کی روک تھام کیلئے صارفین سے مکمل کاسٹ ریکوری کا پلان تیارکر لیا۔

آئی ایم ایف نے بجلی چوری روکنے ترسیلی نظام بہتر بنانے کا بھی مطالبہ کردیا ہے۔ آئی ایم ایف کا کہنا ہے کہ سال 25-2024ء میں بجلی ٹیرف کی سالانہ ری بیسنگ کا نوٹیفکیشن بروقت جاری کیا جائے۔ پاور پرچیز ایگریمنٹس پر نظرثانی اور زرعی ٹیوب ویلز کی سبسسڈی میں اصلاحات کا مطالبہ بھی کیا گیا ہے۔

دستاویزات کے مطاق جنوری 2024ء تک گیس سیکٹر کا گردشی قرضہ 2083 ارب روپے رہا۔ آئی ایم ایف نے تمام کھاد کمپنیوں سے گیس کی مکمل  قیمت وصول کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ حکومت نے مختلف علاقوں اور صنعتوں کیلئے گیس قیمتوں میں فرق کم کیا جائے گا کی یقین دہانی کردی ہے۔

دستاویز کے مطابق بجلی کے شعبے میں گردشی قرضہ 2600 ارب روپے سے زیادہ رہا۔ حکومت نے مالی سال 25-2024ء میں گردشی قرض میں کمی یا اسٹاک برقرار رکھنے کیلئے اصلاحات کا منصوبہ تیار کرلیا۔

آئی ایم ایف نے جون تک بجلی سیکٹر میں گردشی قرضے کا 2300 ارب کا ہدف پورا کرنے پر زور دیا ہے۔ حکومت نے کاسٹ ریکوری کیلئے یونیفارم گیس پرائس متعارف کرانے کی یقین دہانی کرا دی۔

آئی ایم ایف کا کہنا ہے کہ بجلی اور گیس ٹیرف می ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے وقت غریب گھرانوں کا تحفظ یقینی بنایا جائے۔
