Currently solar panels are being sold in the Pakistani market at Rs. 39 per watt. This means that a 180-watt panel which previously cost Rs. 15,000, is now available for just Rs. 7,000. Less than half the previous price. It is worth noting that some time ago the price of solar panels in Pakistan had reached up to Rs. 80 per watt.
Now it is possible to purchase 5-megawatt panels for two lakh rupees. Which can power two or three air conditioners comfortably. Without the additional cost of inverters and other expenses.
Currently in the market Longi single glass A-grade panels are available at Rs. 42 per watt. Longi bifacial panels at Rs. 42 per watt. Jinko P-type single glass A-grade at Rs. 39 per watt. And JA single glass A-grade at Rs. 40 per watt.
It is evident that solar panels have become so cheap in various countries around the world including Europe. That they are being used to build orchard fences in countries like the Netherlands and Germany. The decrease in solar panel prices is due to increased production by Chinese companies in the global market. The oversupply of solar panels has exceeded China’s grip on the market. Posing a challenge to manufacturers in America and Europe.

پاکستان میں سولر پینلز کی قیمتیں تاریخ کی کم ترین سطح پر آگئی ہے۔ اور رواں سال کے آغاز سے ہی مسلسل قیمتوں میں مسلسل کمی کا رجحان ہے۔
اس وقت پاکستانی مارکیٹ میں سولر پینل 39 روپے فی واٹ پر فروخت ہو رہا ہے۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ 180 واٹ کا جو پینل 15 ہزار روپے میں آرہا تھا۔ وہ اب صرف سات ہزار روپے میں دستیاب ہے۔ یعنی نصف قیمت سے بھی کم پر۔ یاد رہے کہ کچھ عرصہ قبل پاکستان میں سولر پینل کی قیمت 80 روپے فی واٹ تک پہنچ گئی تھی۔
لیکن اب دو لاکھ روپے میں پانچ میگاواٹ کے پینلز خریدنا ممکن ہو گیا ہے۔ جن سے دو یا تین ایئرکنڈیشنر آرام سے چلائے جا سکتے ہیں۔ جبکہ اس میں انورٹر اور دیگر اخراجات کے پیسے شامل نہیں۔
اس وقت مارکیٹ میں لونگی سنگل گلاس اے گریڈ 42 روپے واٹ، لونگی بائیفیشل 42 روپے فی واٹ، جنکو پی ٹائپ سنگل گلاس اے گریڈ 39 روپے فی واٹ، جے اے سنگل گلاس اے گریڈ 40 روپے فی واٹ دستیاب ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ یورپ سمیت دنیا کے مختلف ممالک میں سولر پینلز اتنے سستے ہو گئے ہیں کہ انہیں نیدرلینڈز اور جرمنی میں باغات کی باڑ بنانے کے لیے استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے۔ سولر پینلز کی قیمتیں کم ہونے کی وجہ عالمی مارکیٹ میں چینی کمپنیوں کی جانب سے سولر پینلز کی بڑھتی ہوئی پیداوار ہے۔ ضرورت سے زیادہ سولر پینلز کی سپلائی کے باعث مارکیٹ پر چین کی گرفت حد سے زیادہ بڑھ چکی ہے جس کا امریکہ اور یورب کے مینوفیکچررز مقابلہ کرنے سے قاصر ہیں۔
