The Government has Continuously encouraging Pakistan’s citizens to get Vaccinated but they did not get results as expected so The Punjab government has decided to launch a door to door covid-19 vaccination campaign from July 26 in five cities of the province. Cities include Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad to meet the targets.
In meeting minister said that the NCOC had set a target of vaccinating 40% of the population over 18 years of age in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Multan, and 70% of the Rawalpindi population by August 14.
The Chief Secretary Punjab said that the vaccination targets set by the NCOC would be achieved and mobile teams would be formed for door-to-door vaccination. He said that the citizens should continue to follow the precautionary measures along with vaccination.
