میچ کے بعد صحافیوں سے گفتگو کرتے  ہوئے محسن نقوی کا کہنا تھا کہ لگتا تھا کہ کرکٹ ٹیم کا چھوٹی سرجری سے کام چل جائے گا۔ لیکن بھارت  کے خلاف  انتہائی خراب کارکردگی کے بعد یقین ہوگیا ہے کہ ٹیم میں بڑی سرجری کی ضرورت ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستانی کرکٹ اس وقت اپنی سب سے کم درجہ کی پر فارمنس پر ہے۔ ہمارا سب سے بڑا چیلنج ٹیم کی کارکردگی کو بہتر بنانا ہے۔

 پی سی بی کے چیئرمین نے عندیہ دیا کہ قوم قومی کرکٹ ٹیم میں جلد بڑی سر جری ہوتی ہوئے دیکھے گی۔ ہم نے چیمپئنز ٹرافی کے لئے ٹیم تیار کرنی ہے۔ اور وقت آگیا کہ باہر بیٹھے نئے ٹیلنٹ کو بھی موقع دیا جائے ۔

پی سی بی کے چیئرمین محسن نقوی کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ پاکستانی کرکٹ ٹیم کو دنیا کی ایک بہترین ٹیم بنانا ہے۔ مجھے اچھی طرح معلوم ہے کہ ٹیم میں کیا چل رہا تھا۔ اور ہارنے کی وجوہات کیا ہیں۔

پی سی بی سربراہ کے مطابق قوم کرکٹ ٹیم سے ایسی مایوس کن کارکردگی کی توقع نہیں رکھتی، ہمیں بہتر کارکردگی دکھانی ہے۔

Need for Major Overhaul

In his conversation with journalists Naqvi mentioned that it initially seemed minor adjustments would suffice. However following the poor performance against India. It’s clear that substantial changes are required. He emphasized that the team’s current performance level is at its lowest. And improving this is the biggest challenge.
