تفصیلات کے مطابق انسداد دہشت گردی کی خصوصی عدالت راولپنڈی میں 9 مئی کیسز میں دو گواہوں نے عدالت میں درخواست جمع کرا دی۔ سابق ڈپٹی اسپیکر پنجاب اسمبلی واثق قیوم اورعمرتنویر بٹ نےدرخواست جمع کرائی۔ جس میں کہا بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان کیخلاف وعدہ معاف گواہ بن کر ایسا بیان کسی مجسٹریٹ کےسامنے یا تحریری نہیں دیا۔
اس موقع پر میڈیا سے گفتگو میں واثق قیوم عباسی نے کہا کہ مجھ سے منسوب ایک سوچونسٹھ کا بیان بالکل جھوٹ ہے۔ دس بار کہوں گا اس سے میرا کچھ لینا دینا نہیں۔ جس سیاست میں بانی پی ٹی آئی نہیں وہ سیاست کسی کام کی نہیں۔
عمر تنویر بٹ کا کہنا تھا کہ ایسے کسی بیان سے ان کاکوئی تعلق نہیں۔ پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل محمد فیصل ملک کی میڈیاسےگفتگو میں کہا کہ اڈیالہ جیل میں 9مئی کے 14 مقدمات کی سماعت ہوئی۔ آج وکلا کو اڈیالہ جیل کے اندر جانے کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی۔ عدالت جیل انتظامیہ کے رویے پر تفصیلی آرڈر جاری کرے گی وکیل محمد فیصل ملک۔
وکیل کا کہنا تھا کہ 9مئی کے مقدمات میں اہم پیشرفت یہ ہے 2 ملزمان اعترافی بیان سے منحرف ہوئے۔ واثق قیوم عباسی اور عمر تنویر بٹ نے 164کے بیان سے لاتعلقی کا اظہار کیا۔ ہم نے عدالت میں درخواست دی ہے جسے عدالتی ریکارڈ کا حصہ بنایا گیاہے۔ وکیل محمد فیص
Two Accused in May 9 Cases Deny Confession Statements
Details reveal that in the special Anti-Terrorism Court of Rawalpindi two witnesses in the May 9 cases have submitted an application to the court. Former Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum, and Umar Tanveer Butt submitted the application. They claimed that they did not give any confession statement against PTI founder Imran Khan to any magistrate either orally or in writing.
During a conversation with the media Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi said that the statement attributed to him under Section 164 is completely false. He insisted that he has no connection with it and stated The politics without PTI’s founder is of no use. Umar Tanveer Butt also denied any connection with such a statement.
PTI’s lawyer Muhammad Faisal Malik mentioned in his media talk that hearings for 14 cases related to May 9 were held in Adiala Jail. However today lawyers were not allowed to enter the jail. The court will issue a detailed order regarding the behavior of the jail administration.
The lawyer further said that the important development in the May 9 cases is that two accused Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi and Umar Tanveer But have disassociated themselves from their confession statements under Section 164. They have submitted an application in court which has been made a part of the judicial record.
