اسحاق ڈار کا کہنا تھا کہ معاہدے کے 11یا 12ریویو ہوتے ہیں. پوری کوشش کی ہے آئی ایم ایف معاہدے پر 9واں ریویو ہوجائے. معاہدےکی تفصیلات پیش کرنے کاکام شفافیت برقرار رکھنے کیلئے کیا. تمام دستاویز وزارت کی ویب سائٹ پر بھی دستیاب ہیں. وزیر خزانہ نے بتایا کہ سابق حکومت کی وجہ سےآئی ایم ایف پروگرام معطل ہواتھا. پروگرام کی معطلی سے پاکستان کی ساکھ کو نقصان پہنچا۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ گزشتہ حکومت کی ناقص پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے پاکستان کی معیشت کو نقصان ہوا. جب ہماری حکومت آئی تو ملک کےذخائر14ارب ڈالر تھے. ایساوقت بھی آیاجہاں ہمارے ذخائر4بلین تک چلے گئے. اسحاق ڈار نے کہا کہ کوشش ہے نگراں حکومت آنے تک اسی راستےپرچلیں. ہم نے ایسی پالیسی اپنائی ہے جس سےمہنگائی کاطوفان تھمناچاہیے. وزیر خزانہ نے ریئل اسٹیٹ، کنسٹرکشن اور زراعت کے شعبے پرٹیکس کی باتوں کو افواہ قرار دیتے ہوئے. کہا اس میں کوئی صداقت نہیں، مذکورہ شعبے پر ایک بھی نیاٹیکس نہیں لگایا جائے گا۔

He informed that the IMF program was stalled due to the previous government. Which caused harm to Pakistan’s economy. The flawed policies of the previous government caused economic losses. And during our government the country’s reserves reached $14 billion. But unfortunately they dwindled to $4 billion.
He asserted that the current government is working to continue on this path until the next significant government comes. And we have adopted policies to control inflation. He denied any rumors of imposing taxes on the real estate, construction, and agriculture sectors. Stating that there would be no new taxes in these sectors.
